Launching of M/T Prospero

The launching ceremony was held in quite foggy weather and after ceremonies and speaches, M/T Prospero was realeased into the water.
Colleagues from FKAB Shanghai office reported back that the vessel looks great.
The GM of the yard, Mr Zhang Zhao, expressed great proudness of the project.

This is the first out of two ordered vessels for Rederi AB Donsötank.
These Hybrid vessels design are named FKAB T29, are of 22 000 DWT size, have LNG propulsion, Ice class 1A and equipped with batteries.
The hull, with its FKAB F-Bow design, is optimized to acheive maximum cargo intake, for low fuel consumption, designed for excellent performance in calm/ harsh weather conditions.

The vessels are built at Wuhu Shipyard Co. Ltd. based on FKAB design.
FKAB are proud to be part of the project from the first sketch all the way to Basic & Detail Design.
