FKAB Marine Design proudly presents the new building project of 4+4 X 6 600 DWT DF stainless steel chemical tankers, ordered by John T. Essberger, at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co Ltd. in China. FKAB was appointed as owners designer from the first concept to the final product.
This state-of-the-art FKAB design is based on Essbergers high-quality requirements , with clear focus on low environmental impact, high flexibility, and very low fuel consumption, using the FKAB’s proven modern lines with F-Bow and LNG as primary fuel.
The propulsion system is a single screw DF main engine, designed with full battery / UPS power, preventing from black outs.
FKAB marine design will also be involved in Basic and Detail Design, through both FKAB Sweden and FKAB China offices.
