Styrsöbolagen Älvsnabben
Styrsöbolagen Älvsnabben 4 and 5 where constructed due to increased demand on passenger traffic in the harbour of Gothenburg. The boat serve on a daily basis and can take passengers and bicycles. Passengers can enjoy the view from either a larger salong with 148 seats or a sundeck with 80 seats. The boat is built in aluminium but strengthend in order to stand the icy conditions during the winter.
Styrsöbolagen Amanda
Styrsöbolagen Amanda design is a flexible and environmental friendly ferry design tailor made for operations in the southern archipelago of Göteborg. The ferry is designed to be adapted to several different mission types such as food and garbage transportation, salvage operations, construction work and passenger transportation.
Styrsöbolagen Amanda has an advanced ballast system to be able to handle all kinds of rolling cargo at different kind of ports and quays.
Styrsöbolagen Amanda is the first Swedish vessel of its size where the engines is equipped with an SCR catalyst system which makes hear one of the most environmental friendly ferries at the market.
Vägverket Färjerederiet Braheborg
The Braheborg design is a flexible and environmental friendly ferry design, tailor made for transport cars, buses, trucks, passengers and bicycles in the Swedish Road Administartions Gränna-Visingsö-route in Jönköping. It offers a large cargo area and has a high passenger certificate for 397 passengers.
Braheborg has an advanced ballast system to be able to handle all kinds of rolling cargo at different kind of ports and quays.
The hull is reinforced according to ice class 1B to be able to handle winter conditions. It has good redundancy because of its 2×2 engine installation, which drives the propeller aggregates.
Pluto
Pluto is an open air shuttle ferry that through its high reliability is able to handle a high demand of road traffic transportation. It has good redundancy because of its 2×2 engine installation, which drives the propeller aggregates.
The ferry has been in service by the Swedish Transport Administration since 2003 and can because of its reinforced deck transport a wide range of vehicles, such as special vehicles beyond BK1 class. It offers a large cargo area and has a high passenger certificate.
The hull is reinforced according to ice class 1B to be able to handle winter conditions. The ferry’s exhausts levels are decreased through catalysts and it can be operated by two staff members.
Sedna
Sedna is an open air shuttle ferry that transports vehicles and passengers. The vessel vas built by Swede Ship Marine and has been used by the Swedish Transport Administration since 2004 for operations in the Swedish archipelagos and lakes.
The aft and forward hull, inclusive their respectively ramps, on the vessel are demountable which makes it easily adaptable for different kinds of water crossings. The vessel is reinforced according to ice class 1B. It is built to handle BK1 vehicles which make it able to support timber transportation in the operating area. The ferry is normally operated by two staff members.
Sjöliften
The cable ferry “Sjöliften” is an environmentally friendly solution for short distance passenger transportation. It is an unmanned vehicle and is operated by the passengers themselves. The cable is driven by electricity and located at the bottom of the watercourse, which means that the transportation route is available for other vessels to cross. Its flexibility makes it easily adaptable for various locations and transportations.
