Together with Sirius, FKAB developed a new generation of chemical tankers based on the success of the T31 series with a strong focus on hybrid technology and shore-based energy systems. Equipped with a 420 kWh hybrid battery system, the vessels can utilize peak shaving for both main and auxiliary engines, effectively reducing fuel consumption and emissions during varying load demands.

A 1,000 kW shore power connection allows the vessels to operate with zero emissions during loading and discharging in port, supporting stricter environmental regulations and improving sustainability in port operations.
