The FKAB T24 C1 Vinga series is a state-of-the-art Tier III oil and chemical tanker designed for maximum fuel efficiency and high cargo capacity. Engineered to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption, this vessel supports up to 1.52 tons/m³ density and can handle six cargo grades simultaneously.
With an optimized hull form and built to Ice Class 1A standards, the Vinga series sets new benchmarks in sustainability, efficiency, and reliability for maritime shipping.

For the FKAB T24 C1 Vinga series, FKAB Marine Design provided:
The best Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) value in their segment globally, meaning they are the most energy-efficient vessels according to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
The first tanker in Europe with a full high-voltage shore power connection (6.6kV), capable of powering the energy-intensive cargo pumps directly from shore.
Hybrid power solution featuring batteries, PTI (Power Take-In), PTO (Power Take-Off), and PTH (Power Take-Home) for enhanced energy efficiency and operational flexibility.
A new low-drag hull design minimizes friction, while a ducted propeller enhances thrust and reduces power demand. Combined with variable propeller speed and an active engine load curve, this results in significantly lower fuel consumption.
