Prima Marine have ordered 6 Newbuildings at Ningbo Zhenhe Shipyard and CSTC Shanghai based on FKAB design
We are proud to present the newbuilding project of 6 very small product tankers that Thailand ship owner Prima Marine have signed with Ningbo Zhenhe Shipyard and CSTC Shanghai, on 18 January 2025.
A 73m clean petroleum product tanker design tailor developed for easy and efficient operation in Thailand coast and rivers.
Total 5 pairs of epoxy coated cargo tanks and 1 pair of slop tanks.
Main propulsion consists of a high efficiency fixed pitch propeller driven by a bio-diesel prepared 4-stroke engine.
A bow thruster and flap rudder for good manoeuvrability.
A number of energy saving & environmental solutions implemented into the design, such as the low resistance FKAB patent F-Bow hull form, bio-diesel prepared main engine, shaft generator and LED lighting etc.
