ABOUT CLIENT
The hull is optimized for an improved propulsion efficiency. The vessel is divided into 12 cargo tanks. The design cargo density is 1.025 ton/m3, the cargo density can be up to 1.05 ton/m3 at 15°C and temperatures up to 185°C.
The propulsion system consists of a four-stroke engine with a single screw controllable pitch propeller. The electric generating system consist of two main diesel generators and one shaft generator. The main fuel is HFO and MGO, the design is prepared for a change to methanol. The vessel has a very low fuel consumption of 10.8 t/24h at a speed of 12.5 knots at 75% MCR with 15% sea margin and an output of 300 kW from the shaft generator at design draught. The installed power is 4060 kW.
